Why I'm Running for Re-Election to Issaquah City Council Position 5

• ​I am excited about running for re-election to Issaquah City Council, Position No. 5.  I want to devote my knowledge, skills, and training to keep Issaquah a wonderful place to live, work, and play.  Through a pandemic and bomb cyclone we learned that we are a resilient community with many strengths. We also learned that by working together, we can overcome daunting circumstances.
  
  I would humbly ask for your support so that together, we may build an even stronger future for our city.
  
  A vote for Russell Joe will:
• Re-elect a seasoned member of the city council with over twelve years of municipal government experience, to represent you.
  
• Retain a private sector leader with proven experience in the area of government affairs and municipal relations in King and Snohomish counties;
  
• Retain a former prosecutor, Pro Tem Judge and local attorney to help bring a balanced and rational approach to decision making in this non-partisan position;
  
• Retain a a leader with over 20 years of experience as a non-profit board volunteer and executive staff member;
